This Privacy Policy explains how BodyBeam ("we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the BodyBeam mobile app and related services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to this policy.

1. Information We Collect

• Account information. When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive a unique identifier and, if you allow it, your email address and name. We use Sign in with Apple / Google; we never see or store your Apple or Google password.
• Profile information. Details you provide to personalize your analysis, such as your age, gender, and who you are interested in.
• Photos you submit. The front, back, and side photos you choose to upload for analysis.
• Purchase information. When you buy a subscription or a single scan, Apple and our payments partner (RevenueCat) provide us with transaction and subscription status information. We never receive your full payment card details.
• Referral information. The referral code you generate or redeem, and whether a friend has registered with it.
• Technical data. Basic logs (such as request times and error information) needed to operate and secure the Service.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To generate your AI body analysis (body age, attractiveness insights, and recommendations).
• To create and manage your account and keep you signed in.
• To process purchases and determine your access to paid features.
• To operate the referral program that unlocks your body age result.
• To maintain the security, integrity, and reliability of the Service.

3. AI Processing and Third Parties

To produce your analysis, the photos and related prompt information you submit are transmitted to a third-party AI service provider for processing. Your photos are used only to generate your result and are not stored on our servers. We store the resulting text analysis so you can view your history. To save you retaking them, the photos you submit may be kept on your device until your full analysis is complete, for up to 7 days. They are not included in device backups, and are removed when you sign out or delete your account. Quick scan photos are not kept on your device.

We share information with the following service providers solely to operate the Service:

• Third-party AI service provider — AI analysis of submitted photos and prompts.
• RevenueCat and Apple — subscription and in-app purchase processing and validation.
• Apple / Google — authentication (Sign in with Apple / Google).

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account, profile, and analysis results for as long as your account exists. Submitted photos are not retained on our servers after your analysis is generated. When you delete your account, we permanently remove your associated data from our systems, except for purchase records (such as product, date, and transaction reference), which we keep without your account details for accounting and refund purposes. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription; you manage and cancel it in your Apple ID settings.

5. Your Choices and Rights

• Delete your account. You can permanently delete your account and associated data at any time from within the app (Settings → Delete Account).
• Access and correction. You can update your profile in the app, or contact us to request access to or correction of your information.
• Depending on where you live (e.g., the EEA, UK, or California), you may have additional rights over your personal data. Contact us to exercise them.

6. Children

The Service is only for adults aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information, including photos, from anyone under 18. If you believe someone under 18 has used the Service, contact us and we will delete their account and data.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and secure on-device storage of authentication tokens. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
